"Warren" the Owl Released!

The Carolina Raptor Center, located in Charlotte, NC, was a vendor of the Mountain Green Conference. Per their request, a Great Horned Owl, named Warren at the time of the his release, was released back into the wild after rehabilitation. Warren, like many of those nursed back to health by CRC, was an orphaned owl. Conference chairman Bob Deutsch assisted Keynote speaker Leilani Munter in releasing Warren back into the wild.

Vendors reported making money!

When asked by Phillip Gibson at the end of the conference, 8 vendors (out of 52) reported making new connections that the vendor anticipates to make money from. Not all 52 vendors were asked as vendors were packing up at the end of the day. We know, however, that if people are making money then this means that sustainable technologies are being purchased rather than the alternative.
